We warmly invite you to the third networking meeting for institutions, organisations and individuals working in the field of intercultural dialogue, part of the “Together on Interculturality” series. The topic of the meeting will be Supporting migrants and refugees.
When and where?
The meeting will take place on 17 November (Wednesday), 10:00–11:30. It will be held online on Zoom. (please note: new date!)
Update: as the original date clashed with the conference “Diversity in the Workplace – Challenges, Opportunities and Good Practice in Business, Local Government and NGOs”, we have moved the meeting to 17 November. Thank you for your understanding – we look forward to seeing you at both events.
What will happen at the meeting?
At the November meeting we will look at some of the issues raised during the round-table discussions on Support (14 September this year).
We will focus mainly on forms of assistance and social support, with particular attention to groups especially at risk of exclusion and discrimination. The meeting will be attended by representatives of, among others, the Municipal Social Assistance Centre (MOPS) and non-governmental organisations working to support various social groups.
Planned topics:
-
Support for migrants and refugees in Wrocław – Municipal Social Assistance Centre (MOPS)
-
Temporary accommodation centres – Department of Security and Crisis Management, Department of Social Affairs, Wrocław Integration Centre, centre operators
-
Psychological support for migrants and refugees – Department of Health and Social Affairs, Fundacja Kalejdoskop Kultur, Fundacja Non Licet, Fundacja Centrum Praw Kobiet
-
Support for people particularly at risk of discrimination and exclusion – Kultura Równości, Wrocław Council for Equal Treatment
