As spring gets under way, we are back with a new edition of family walks around Wrocław in Ukrainian! Following last year’s interest, we are continuing the series “Wrocław from the Beginning” (Wrocław od początku), now with new themes, routes and city stories.
“Wrocław from the Beginning” is a series of ten educational and community walks around the city, aimed at families with children. In a relaxed, family atmosphere we will discover Wrocław together – its history, how the city works, and the forms of community and civic engagement it offers.
The walks will be held in Ukrainian, with some Polish. They will be led by Khrystyna Podolian – a licensed Wrocław tour guide who talks about the city with passion in Ukrainian.
Each walk will be devoted to a different – and not always obvious – theme. One time we will go underground to uncover the secrets of old toilets and city sewers; another time we will look at the city from the perspective of its rivers, bridges and islands. We will also talk about how Wrocław is changing and what influence we – its residents – have on that.
Please note!
