Identity: Workshops and Exhibition

We recently told you about recruitment for the workshop group of the project “Identity: Workshops and Exhibition”. You can sign up until this Sunday (13 February). The first session is on 28 February!

Today we are sharing a description of the sessions from the workshop leader, Léa Comprelle:

“For me, the most important thing is to create an open and safe space during the workshops in which we can experiment together. I want it to be a space for all kinds of people, who approach different objects and means of expression in different ways. The theme of identity can also be explored in many ways – from asking ‘Who am I?’ or ‘Where do I come from?’ to a broader perspective taking in political and social issues. The workshops are not just for artists – quite the opposite: I would like to encourage people with no connection to art to join us. We will be working in a small group, which will help us feel more comfortable and at ease with one another.”
