Adult life is a unique period full of challenges and difficulties, but also of joy and wonderful experiences. We invite young people aged 20-26 to a circle meeting at the Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu), where we will talk about our experiences of this stage of life.
What is the Young Adults’ Circle?
Varsztatovnia, in cooperation with the Passage of Dialogue, organises monthly meetings: the Young Adults’ Circle in Wrocław. It is a safe and empathetic space for sharing your emotions, experiences, difficulties and life challenges. You will have the chance to talk about what we are going through, what emotions we feel, what problems we are struggling with and how we live our lives.
Who can join the circle meetings?
The Young Adults’ Circle meetings are intended for people aged 20-26, regardless of gender.
What does a circle meeting look like?
Each meeting brings together a dozen or so people. At the very beginning, together with the moderator, they agree on the ground rules for the meeting. Together they create an atmosphere of understanding and safety. Next, everyone introduces themselves and shares their expectations and reasons for coming. Once they have got to know each other a little, they move on to the next part, in which each person has the opportunity to express their thoughts freely, with the moderator continuing to guide the conversation. The aim is to understand different perspectives and to share one’s own experience.
Topic of the next meeting
At the next circle we will talk about self-acceptance: what we associate it with and how we understand it. We will consider how various factors affect our ability to accept ourselves and how our perception of this process changes over time. Does it get harder with age, or do we become more aware of it, making it a little easier? These and similar reflections will guide our May meeting, but if we feel the need, we can also touch on other topics.
