As spring gets under way, we are back with another edition of our family walks around Wrocław in Ukrainian! Following last year’s interest, we are continuing the “Wrocław from the Beginning” series, enriched with new topics, routes and city stories.
“Wrocław from the Beginning” is a series of ten educational and social walks around the city for families with children. In a relaxed, family atmosphere we will discover Wrocław together – its history, how the city works, and the forms of social and civic engagement it offers.
The walks will be held in Ukrainian, with elements of Polish. They will be led by Khrystyna Podolian, a licensed Wrocław guide who talks about the city with passion in Ukrainian.
Each meeting will be devoted to a different – not always obvious – topic. One time we will go underground to uncover the secrets of old toilets and the city’s sewers; another time we will look at the city from the perspective of its rivers, bridges and islands. We will also talk about how Wrocław is changing and what influence we – its residents – have on it.
Please note!
