Exhibition opening: “Our Paths. Thread, Abstraction, Fabric”

From 22 June the exhibition “Our Paths. Thread, Abstraction, Fabric” can be seen at the Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu).

Join us for the opening of this remarkable exhibition, which gives a voice to young artists – young people in the care of the Wrocław Centre for Care and Upbringing. The project participants were involved not only in creating the artworks but also in curating the entire event.

Abstraction, thread, fabric – these elements become a metaphor for life’s journey. Knots, turns, colours, shapes and texture are used to interpret future decisions and look back on past events. It is a unique opportunity to see how young artists express their thoughts and emotions through unusual means of expression.

22 June 2024 (Saturday), 14:00-16:00
Passage of Dialogue, ul. Świdnicka 19
Free admission

The MY WYDzwięki project is organised by the Agora Culture Centre (Centrum Kultury Agora) in cooperation with the Wrocław Centre for Social Development (WCRS) – Passage of Dialogue, the Siemacha Association and the Wrocław Centre for Care and Upbringing. The event is part of the Accessible Culture (Kultura Dostępna) programme, which aims to support community integration activities.

The exhibition will be on display until the end of September, giving you plenty of time to visit and immerse yourself in the work of these young artists

We recommend listening to the “Oblicza Wrocławia” (Faces of Wrocław) programme on Radio Rodzina, whose guest is Jagoda Molasy, art therapist and curator of the exhibition “Our Paths. Thread, Abstraction, Fabric” – link to the programme.
