Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu) is a place for meetings and activities that foster social and intercultural dialogue. We run and co-run workshops, debates, campaigns, exhibitions and other activities on social and intercultural themes – including for non-specialists. Wrocław residents can use the space to put their own ideas for free, open community activities into practice.

The Wrocław Centre for Social Development (WCRS) is looking for someone to take on tasks related to the promotion and organisation of events as part of the “Passage of Dialogue” project.
If you have experience of organising and promoting community, educational or cultural events, are open to other cultures and enjoy working with people, we would love to hear from you!
We are looking for someone who:
– can design, initiate and deliver project activities,
– has experience of project work in the social, cultural or intercultural field, including organising events, workshops and training sessions, debates, and meetings with specialists, experts, other guests and local residents,
– has worked with non-governmental organisations and other bodies to deliver similar events,
– knows how to publish content on Facebook, Instagram and WordPress websites,
– is no stranger to creating social media graphics (e.g. in Canva),
– enjoys writing and editing texts and does it well,
– has a good working command of English (written and spoken; knowledge of Ukrainian or Russian is also welcome).
And who also:
– is open, communicative and sensitive to other cultures,
– enjoys deepening their knowledge of promotion and of social action,
– is very well organised, able to solve problems independently and learn quickly, and can take responsibility for the tasks entrusted to them,
– is flexible (open to flexible working hours tailored to project needs, including afternoons and weekends).
What will your duties involve?
– taking an active part in planning the programme and future direction of Passage of Dialogue and its promotional strategies,
– building partnerships, creating events and working with partners on joint projects and campaigns,
– dealing directly with visitors to Passage of Dialogue and providing organisational support in planning and running events,
– carrying out promotional activities, including running the website and social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram) and other creative forms of promotion and communication, in order to build relationships with audiences and potential partners and to publicise current events,
– writing and editing promotional and informational texts in Polish, including posts, articles and press releases, and translating selected texts into English,
– taking photographs at events and meetings, and archiving graphic and informational materials,
– working as part of the project team.
