Information from the event organisers:

On 19 February at 17.30 we invite you to the Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu) for another Multicultural Evening. This time we will meet Aleksandra Malinowska, an expert on Korea!

What does Ola say about herself?

“I am a second-year master’s student of Intercultural Relations at the Institute of Intercultural Studies at the Jagiellonian University, where I am writing my master’s thesis entitled ‘Social pressure as a source of self-destructive behaviour in the society of the Republic of Korea’. I have had a long-standing interest in this country, as shown by my bachelor’s degree in Far Eastern Philology, specialising in Korean, at the University of Wrocław, and by my bilateral exchange to South Korea in 2022/2023 at Keimyung University in Daegu. At the centre of my interests is travel, which allows me to explore the world, other cultures and languages, and to live in a multicultural environment. I believe that the experience I gain from travelling helps me apply the book knowledge from my current master’s studies to a better understanding of the world around me and of intercultural relations.”
