The Hebrew language is bound up with Jewish culture. For centuries it served as a liturgical language, and today it is the official language of Israel. It is used by Jewish people all over the world.
Did you know that Hebrew has 22 letters, but none of them are vowels and there are no capital or lower-case letters? Words are also written from right to left.
If you would like to learn the Hebrew letters and the rules of writing, come to our workshop led by Kewin Oskwarek, a teacher at the Etz Chaim Dialogue of Cultures Non-Public Primary School and Secondary School in Wrocław.
The workshop is open to young people (15+) and adults.
When? 27 September, 18:00–19:30
Where? Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu), ul. Świdnicka 19
The workshop is free, but registration is required:

The workshop is an accompanying event to the open-air exhibition “Pełno ich nigdzie” (Full of Them, Nowhere), which can be seen on the north side of the Market Square from 8 September to 4 October. The exhibition is organised by POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in cooperation with the Wrocław Centre for Social Development (WCRS). The meeting is made possible by financial support from the EEA and Norway Grants and the national budget.
