In the author’s own words: <… this is a therapeutic story about the journey to oneself. It is a novel about vocation, the pain of choice, a postponed future, relationships, friendship, motherhood and the titanic work that remains behind the scenes. It is about the possibility – or rather the impossibility – of doing what you want and love. About how neglected needs and ambitions are good for no one, and how happiness can only be found by making choices in your own favour, even if the road to it is not cloudless.>

👸📖About the author: Larysa Rudak comes from Kryvyi Rih. For a long time she studied and lived in Kyiv, and since 2012 she has lived in Wrocław. She writes novels and short stories. Her work explores women’s self-fulfilment, emancipation, family relationships, parenting, migration and intercultural differences.
We look forward to hearing the voices of many different women💃💅 who have chosen different paths (motherhood, a career, those trying to combine the two, and those who have given up the role of mother or put off having children) and to discussing the topic together.
👋We look forward to seeing you at the Passage!
