Join us for an open panel discussion in the “Philosophical Survival School” series, in which we will focus on the question of whether true philosophising only ever happened in the past, and whether today we merely limit ourselves to quarrels about words. How should we define “true” philosophy, and can we speak of its end? Would philosophy still have a place in a post-literate world?
Join a discussion that will address issues relating to both ancient and contemporary philosophy. We will consider the role of philosophy in today’s world and ask whether changing social and cultural conditions threaten its existence or, on the contrary, inspire new forms of expression.
