We invite you to a psychoeducational meeting led by experienced psychologists from the Kalejdoskop Kultur Foundation. Registration is required: to take part, please fill in the application form. The meetings are held in Ukrainian.
Free meeting with a psychologist: “Parents in Emigration: How to Regain Your Strength and Build Inner Support”
Being a parent in emigration means caring every day not only for yourself but also for your children: their adaptation, sense of security, education and future. Amid all the responsibilities and the care for your loved ones, your own needs often take a back seat.
Together with the psychologist, we will carry out a LIFE-IN-EMIGRATION AUDIT. We will look at our everyday lives to better understand where we are losing energy today and how to regain more control over our time and wellbeing. The more stable and emotionally cared for parents are, the more support they can give their children.
During the meeting we will:
– look at how to build a sense of stability and security in children even when we ourselves are going through a period of uncertainty;
– examine our daily responsibilities and discover personal, often overlooked sources of energy;
– identify shared resources and opportunities for mutual support within our community;
– consider how to turn accumulated fatigue into concrete and inspiring plans;
– look for ways to reduce chronic tension and to find new meaning in life in emigration;
– try out a grounding technique that helps restore calm and clear thinking in moments of chaos.
