Free meeting with a psychologist: “How to Cope with a Child’s Difficult Emotions during Tantrums and Aggression, and How to Resolve Conflicts”

Parents often face situations in which a child’s emotions spiral out of control. Tantrums, aggression or excessive crying can be a major challenge for the whole family. This meeting will help you better understand the causes of such emotional outbursts and learn to respond to them in a supportive and effective way.
ㅤ
Topics we will discuss include:
– Why children scream, get angry or bite – depending on their age;
– What really lies behind a tantrum? How to recognise the needs behind the behaviour;
– How to respond in a difficult moment – without punishing the child or breaking their will;
– Which words and actions help, and which only make things worse;
– How to stay calm as an adult when there is a “storm” raging inside you;
– And most importantly – how to rebuild trust after a conflict and strengthen your relationship with your child.

When? 29.04, 17:00-19:00
Where? the Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu), ul. Świdnicka 19 (Świdnicka pedestrian underpass)
For whom? Parents who want to better understand their children’s emotions, learn to respond effectively to tantrums and aggression, and build trust and repair their relationship after conflicts.
