Supervision for Intercultural Assistants in Cooperation with Kalejdoskop Kultur

Group psychological support for intercultural assistants – you are warmly invited!

The Kalejdoskop Kultur Foundation is continuing its series of supervision sessions for intercultural assistants and school staff working with children with experience of migration, held once a month. It is an opportunity to receive professional guidance, exchange experiences and strengthen your skills in working with pupils. The meetings are held in Ukrainian.

During the group work, intercultural assistants will:
– Receive professional psychological advice on their specific cases,
– Develop constructive strategies for dealing with difficulties in school interactions,
– Share their own experience,
– Receive the psychological support they need, helping them rebuild their resources for continued effective work.

During these meetings we will:
– Discuss conflicts in children’s groups and ways of resolving them (mobbing, bullying, discrimination);
– Learn effective strategies for working with parents (non-violent communication, mediation);
– Explore stress management techniques (stabilising emotional states, self-regulation, preventing burnout);
– Consider how to provide emotional support to pupils (de-escalating aggression, helping with adaptation and reintegration).

Topic of the next meeting: The session will focus on how we experience the stages of ending something, and how we can improve this process and find in it a resource for the future
