Group psychological support for intercultural assistants – join us!
The Kalejdoskop Kultur Foundation is continuing its series of monthly supervision sessions for intercultural assistants and school staff working with children with a migration background. It is an opportunity to get professional guidance, share experiences and strengthen your skills in working with pupils. The meetings are held in Ukrainian.
Working in a group, intercultural assistants will:
– receive professional psychological advice on their specific cases,
– develop constructive strategies for dealing with difficulties in school interactions,
– share their own experience,
– receive the psychological support they need, helping them to rebuild their resources for continued effective work.
At these meetings we will:
– discuss conflicts in children’s groups and ways of resolving them (mobbing, bullying, discrimination);
– learn effective strategies for working with parents (non-violent communication, mediation);
– get to know stress management techniques (techniques for stabilising emotional states, self-regulation, preventing professional burnout);
– consider how to provide emotional support to pupils (defusing aggression, helping with adaptation and reintegration).
