In cooperation with the Kalejdoskop Kultur Foundation, a series of meetings supporting intercultural assistants is starting at Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu) in September. These supervision sessions will take place once a month, and the group is limited to 20 participants. The meetings are held in Ukrainian.
“Conflict-free communication – an individual approach to understanding pupils’ needs”
Working in a group, intercultural assistants will receive professional psychological advice on their specific cases and develop constructive strategies for dealing with difficulties in school interactions. They will have the opportunity to share their own experience and will receive the psychological support they need, helping them to rebuild their resources for continued effective work.
When? 21.11 | 09:30-12:30

At the meeting we will:
• discuss conflicts in children’s groups and ways of resolving them (mobbing, bullying, discrimination);
• learn effective strategies for working with parents (non-violent communication, mediation);
• get to know stress management techniques (techniques for stabilising emotional states, self-regulation, preventing professional burnout);
• consider how to provide emotional support to pupils (defusing aggression, helping with adaptation and reintegration).
