As the new year begins, we are back with another edition of our family walks around Wrocław in Ukrainian! Following last year’s success, we are continuing the series “Wrocław od początku” (Wrocław from the Beginning), this time enriched with new themes, routes and city stories.
Wrocław from the Beginning is a series of educational and community walks around the city for families with children aged 6+. In a relaxed, family atmosphere we will discover Wrocław together – its history, how the city works, and the forms that social and civic engagement can take.
For the winter edition we have prepared walks in a slightly different format – some of them will take place in venues that let you see the history and everyday life of the city from a completely new perspective.
The walks are led by Khrystyna Podolian
Language: Ukrainian with elements of Polish
Participation is free of charge, but registration in the project “From Adaptation to Integration” is required.
Each walk will have a different theme – sometimes surprising and unexpected. We will announce the dates of further walks as we go along!
Old Wrocław (6+)

In mid-February we will discover corners of the city that hide stories of old Wrocław. The meeting will take place in a special space that remembers its former residents and events from many years ago.

(Please note! Each participant may take part in only one walk in the entire series. Please choose your preferred date and theme.)
How Our Grandparents Lived (6+)

On this walk we will travel back in time to interiors where the everyday life of the city’s former residents has been frozen in time. We will see how our ancestors lived, played and worked.

(Please note! Each participant may take part in only one walk in the entire series. Please choose your preferred date and theme.)
