10 December is International Human Rights Day, and on this special day we would like to invite you to join the Wrocław edition of the “Be There for Others” (“Bądź dla innych”) campaign run by Grupa Granica (the Border Group).
At the moment, our attention and emotions are focused on the situation and fate of people at the Polish–Belarusian border. That is why, on this day, we particularly want to draw residents’ attention to the rights of migrants and refugees. At the same time, we want to express our solidarity and community support, so we are counting on you to get involved and join the initiative. The campaign appeals to universal values such as dignity, respect and solidarity, beyond political divisions.

WAYS TO JOIN THE INITIATIVE:
· changing your profile cover (background) image on 10 December (designs to choose from are in the attachments)

· sharing posts about the activities planned for this special day on social media and/or your website. We are sending sample texts and graphics.
· we encourage you to write your own messages and tag them with: #badzdlainnych,
· taking part in the community action “Be … for Others” at Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu) (details below)

ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR 10 DECEMBER:
– a graphic displayed on the Municipal Stadium
(“Be Human to Others”, from 18.00 to 22.00)
– graphics shown by MPK, the city transport company (on screens in buses and trams from 10.12.2021)
– a community action at Passage of Dialogue (the Świdnicka underpass) from 10.00 to 17.00, where every resident will be able to complete the sentence “Be … for others” on a specially prepared poster. You will also be able to record a short statement. With participants’ consent, photos will be published on the social media channels of Wrocław institutions,
a networking meeting for municipal institutions and NGOs at Passage of Dialogue from 12:00 to 14:00 (registration: przejsciedialogu@wcrs.wroclaw.pl).
The meeting will be an opportunity to share experiences and to invite others to collaborate on existing and planned events.
