Adult life is a unique period full of challenges and difficulties, but also of joy and wonderful experiences. We invite young people aged 20–26 to a circle meeting at the Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu), where we will talk about our experiences of this stage of life.
What is the Young Adults’ Circle?
Varsztatovnia, in cooperation with the Passage of Dialogue, organises monthly meetings – the Young Adults’ Circle in Wrocław. It is a safe and empathetic space for sharing your emotions, experiences, difficulties and life challenges. You will have the chance to talk about what we are going through, what emotions we feel, what problems we are struggling with and how we live our lives.
Who can join the circle meetings?
The Young Adults’ Circle meetings are intended for people aged 20–26, regardless of gender.
What does a circle meeting look like?
Each meeting brings together a dozen or so people. At the very beginning, together with the facilitator, participants agree on the ground rules that will form the basis of the meeting. Together they create an atmosphere of understanding and safety. The next step is for everyone to introduce themselves and share their expectations and motivation. Once they have got to know each other a little, they move on to the next part, in which each person has the opportunity to express their thoughts freely, with the facilitator continuing to guide the conversation. The aim is to understand a variety of perspectives and to share one’s own experience.
Topic of the next meeting
At the next circle, we will focus on education in the broadest sense, covering school, university, and relationships with peers and teachers. Together we will consider how we perceive education, whether we think it is important, and the many different forms it takes. These reflections will be the starting point for sharing our experiences, which may well go beyond the topic itself.
