“Reality doesn’t matter. The memory does” is the result of a three-month project around the broad theme of identity. Over eleven weeks, the participants met, shared and learned in order to create and express themselves. They talked about intimate yet universal matters: how do we become ourselves? What defines and affects us? Whether it is seen through the perspective of the physical body, the intangible mind or lived experience, identity is ever changing and difficult to grasp.

The workshop sessions led to the creation of five pieces of art, and through this final show, which brings together the works of Anna Zwolska, Wendy Moreno, Zarina Kamilova, Aleksandra Gałązka, and Lea Comprelle, we invite you to discover videos, installations, texts and paintings, and to ask yourself: what does it mean to be you?

Wystawa “Reality doesn’t matter. The memory does”  jest wynikiem trzymiesięcznego projektu wokół szerokiego tematu tożsamości.
