26.09 | Visit to the Pan Tadeusz Museum

Discover one of the greatest writers of the Romantic era! Sign up for a tour of the Pan Tadeusz Museum with a Ukrainian-speaking guide.

The WroMigrant team, in cooperation with the Pan Tadeusz Museum in Wrocław, invites you on a study visit devoted to the poetic vision of the world of Adam Mickiewicz, a national bard claimed by several nations. We will discover what links the poet to Wrocław, as well as to Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania and France. We will briefly immerse ourselves in the everyday life and festivities of the Polish nobility in the early 19th century. We will uncover the secrets of one of the Romantic poet’s best-known works – the national epic “Pan Tadeusz” – and see the original manuscript.

Our adventure will begin at Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu), the underpass at ul. Świdnicka 19, after which we will move on to the Pan Tadeusz Museum (the House under the Golden Sun – Kamienica pod Złotym Słońcem, Rynek 6), where we will tour ten exhibition rooms.

When: 26 September (Friday), 14:00-17:00

Where: Passage of Dialogue (ul. Świdnicka 19) and the Pan Tadeusz Museum (Rynek 6).

Language: Ukrainian, Polish
