We will talk about the different forms and contexts of communication in film and TV series. The films and series discussed will be a starting point for a conversation about cinema as a tool of communication – and of manipulation, used in the past for propaganda purposes – and also for considering whether cinema is sometimes an amusement park created by “violence lovers and cynical producers”, or whether it can be a subject of dialogue that brings people together.
