How can you help? (updated article)

There are many ways to get involved in helping people in need: you can take part in a collection or make a donation. Below you will find the most important information.

Together with the editors of Wrocław.pl, we have set up an online space where we post and regularly update information on help and support for people from Ukraine. It covers, among other things, accommodation, healthcare and more.
We keep adding new categories: information on psychological support and on the special act on assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with the war is currently being prepared. The information is continuously translated into Ukrainian and Russian (just click the tab in the top right-hand corner).

The most essential information for people arriving from Ukraine can be found here.

Donation drives in Wrocław schools

Various collections for people in need are being organised in Wrocław. Items being collected include food – long-life products only, such as pasta, rice and tinned food – as well as sleeping bags, blankets, toiletries such as toothpaste, underwear, nappies (including adult nappies), kitchen roll, and also candles, batteries, lighters and first-aid kits (without medicines). It is very important to hand in donations in cardboard boxes labelled with their contents!

Please do not seal the boxes, and make sure that no single package is too heavy. Donations will be collected at all schools in Wrocław. The items collected are then taken to Ukraine by lorry.

A 24-hour collection is also being run by Stacja Dialog, located in the western part of the ticket hall at Wrocław Główny railway station.
