March Edition of “Wrocław from the Beginning”: Secrets of the Rivers and City Stories (6+)

We are continuing our family series “Wrocław from the Beginning” – educational walks around the city in Ukrainian, held in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. It is a great opportunity to see Wrocław from a completely new perspective together with your children.

Wrocław from the Beginning is a series of educational and social walks around the city for families with children aged 6+. In a relaxed, family atmosphere we will discover Wrocław together – its history, how the city works, and the forms of social and civic engagement it offers.

The walks are led by Khrystyna Podolian
Language: Ukrainian with some Polish
Participation is free of charge, but registration for the project “From Adaptation to Integration” is required.

Each walk will have a different theme – sometimes surprising and unexpected. We will announce the dates of further walks as we go!

The River (6+)

13.03 (Friday), 17:00

For centuries Wrocław has lived to the rhythm of water. Its rivers, canals and islands have shaped not only the landscape but also the daily lives of its residents. On this walk we will look at the city from a different angle – following its bridges, riverbanks and the stories that still flow beneath the surface.

Old Wrocław (6+)

21.03 (Saturday), 14:00

During this meeting we will travel back in time and take a look at the city as it was years ago. We will discover places that remember their former residents, their everyday affairs, joys and challenges. It will be a walk among stories hidden in walls and details – a chance to see how Wrocław has changed and what from the past is still present around us.
