Meeting with a psychologist for parents: “Signs of addiction in children: early warning signals and tools for prevention”

We invite parents of children and teenagers to a psychoeducational meeting on addiction among young people.

In the context of migration, children and young people face not only the challenges of adapting, but also everyday risks that can affect their behaviour and mental wellbeing. A change of environment, language, social circle and pace of life can make them more likely to turn to addictive behaviours or psychoactive substances as a form of escape or self-protection.

When? 22.04, 17:00-19:00
Where? Świdnicka 19, Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu)
Psychologist: Olha Ovcharenko
Registration is required – click here to sign up!ㅤ

At the meeting we will talk about:

– signs that may point to addiction in children and young people;
– types of hidden addiction in children;
– why young people escape into “another reality”;
– steps parents can take;
– the role of trust and dialogue in the family as prevention.

Meeting with a psychologist for women: “How not to lose yourself when everything around you is changing?”

When life is turned upside down, it is easy to lose yourself – in adapting, in new roles, in an endless list of things you “have to” do. This meeting is about exhaustion that is not a sign of weakness. About forgetting your own needs. About an identity that is somehow fading. And about how to come back to yourself – gently, mindfully and with care.

Who is it for: women with experience of migration who want to regain their inner balance and feel solid ground beneath their feet.

When? 28.04, 17:00-19:00
Where? Wrocław, Świdnicka 19, Passage of Dialogue
Psychologist: Anzhela Tretiakova
Registration is required – click here to sign up!ㅤ

Format – a 2-hour psychoeducational meeting with an experienced psychologist:

– a few words on women’s identity in migration;
– caring, professional support – with no unsolicited advice;
– practical exercises and self-help techniques;
– a pressure-free space for exploring important topics together.
