Meeting with a psychologist for parents: “Signs of Addiction in Children: Early Warning Signs and Tools for Prevention”
We invite parents of children and teenagers to a psychoeducational meeting on addiction among young people.
In a migration context, children and young people face not only the challenges of adapting, but also everyday risks that can affect their behaviour and mental health. A change of surroundings, language, social circle and rhythm of life can make them more likely to turn to addictive behaviours or psychoactive substances as a form of escape or self-protection.
When? 22.04, 17:00-19:00
Where? Świdnicka 19, Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu)
Psychologist: Olha Ovcharenko

At the meeting we will talk about:
– signs that may indicate addiction in children and young people;
– types of hidden addiction in children;
– the reasons for escaping into “another reality”;
– steps parents can take;
– the role of trust and dialogue in the family as prevention.
Meeting with a psychologist for women: “How Not to Lose Yourself When Everything Around You Is Changing”
When life is turned upside down, it is easy to lose yourself – in adapting, in new roles, in an endless list of things you “must” do. This meeting is about tiredness that is not a sign of weakness. About forgetting your own needs. About an identity that somehow becomes blurred. And about how to find your way back to yourself – gently, mindfully and with care.
Who is it for: women with migration experience who want to regain their inner balance and feel firm ground under their feet.
