Because Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu) is temporarily operating as an Information Point for Migrants, the event has been moved to another location. Up-to-date information is available on the event’s Facebook page.

W cyklu warsztatów stworzymy bezpieczną przestrzeń do rozmowy o tożsamości osobistej.

In this series of workshops, we will create a safe space to talk about personal identity.
What does it mean to be a foreigner, or disabled? What does life look like for a person of colour in Poland today? What does it feel like to be perceived as a woman? What is the experience of someone who doesn’t fit gender norms? Through the act of artistic creation and experimentation, we will ask ourselves what “difference” and “diversity” really mean.
🔹 Workshop dates (8 meetings): 28 February; 7, 14, 21 and 28 March; 4, 11 and 25 April
🔹 Exhibition opening: 21 May
Within the group, everyone’s opinions and advice will be valued and welcomed, so that we can help one another create our final artworks, which will be presented in an exhibition organised by the group at the end of the workshops. The final work can be anything you can imagine and produce (photography, painting, sculpture, writing, etc.), and experimentation and cross-disciplinary projects are encouraged.
Please note ‼️
Because these subjects require intimacy and trust between participants, a small group works best. If we receive too many applications, we will make a selection to ensure a diversity of backgrounds and experiences. All experiences are welcome – all we ask for is motivation, commitment and honesty!

Please note that filling in the form does not guarantee a place on the workshop. We will contact you between 14 and 17 February to let you know whether you have a place. Please also bear in mind that these workshops are not a place to learn techniques of painting, photography, writing, etc. They are intended as an open space for free creation and experimentation. That is why everyone is welcome, as long as you have something to say and understand that you will need to be genuinely involved. The workshops will run from 28 February to 25 April (8 meetings, no meeting on 18 April).

The workshops will be held in English, but your English doesn’t need to be perfect – just good enough for us to understand each other and exchange ideas.
The workshops and exhibition are organised jointly by Centrum Kultury Zamek and Passage of Dialogue. If you have any questions, please contact lea.comprelle@gmail.com
