Open Dialogue on Safe Space

Recent events around the world have made us think about safety – our own and that of our loved ones, families, children, friends, colleagues, acquaintances and strangers. Many of us have felt in recent months that our safety has been violated. Something has changed in us irreversibly, both individually and collectively. So what is a SAFE SPACE today? When can we speak of a SAFE SPACE?
We invite you to an open dialogue session on SAFE SPACE.
When?
22.11 (Tuesday), 18:00-20:00
Where?
Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu),
ul. Świdnicka 19, Wrocław
Who is the meeting for?
Everyone.
The dialogue will be led by Magdalena Bera (facilitator) and Anna Firgolska (co-facilitator), graduates of the Dialogue and Migration training run by specialists from the Nansen Centre for Peace and Dialogue (Nansen Fredssenter) https://nansen.peace.no/ and organised by the OSCE (Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights – ODIHR).
_____________
What is open dialogue?
Open dialogue is a conversation in which every participant has an equal voice, regardless of social status, gender, age, education and so on. In dialogue we consciously move away from the win–lose model (as in a debate) towards a more mindful, open and safe exchange of ideas. Unlike a debate, or even a discussion, dialogue is as interested in the relationships between participants as in the topic itself.
