Psychology and Literature Meetings

We invite you to literature and psychology meetings in Ukrainian!

Since the war began, we have all been living under great emotional strain – no matter where you are, if you are from Ukraine. Your life is divided into “before” and “after”, and many of us do not know how to move on.
Larysa Rudak and Nadiya Bera, psychologists with the Kalejdoskop Kultur Foundation’s Free Psychological Support project, will lead a series of literature and psychology meetings.

What will the sessions look like?
Before each meeting we will ask you to read a short essay. At the meeting we will discuss it in terms of the characters’ emotional experiences, fears and anxieties. We are confident that, seen through this lens, everyone present will be able to look at themselves from the outside, as it were. As psychologists, we know that this is much safer than talking directly about yourself and your own experiences.
We will send the text to everyone who registers.

Planned meetings:
22 November (Thursday) – 17.00-19.00 Difficult choices and (lack of) support from loved ones
14 December (Wednesday) – 17.00-19.00 Relationships and closeness

Where: Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu), Wrocław (Świdnicka 19)

The event is organised by the Kalejdoskop Kultur Foundation with the support of Médecins du Monde.
