Join us for a philosophical debate on one of the most fundamental questions of all – does truth exist? We live in a world in which almost everyone appeals to “the one truth”, while at the same time there is more and more talk of its relativity. Is truth something objective, or does it depend on language, culture and our beliefs?
– Is there a single truth?
– Does everyone have “their own truth”?
– Where does fact end and interpretation begin?
We will consider all these questions and many more during the open discussion. It is an opportunity to grapple with different ways of understanding truth and to consider whether we have access to it at all.

Philosophical Survival School: about the project
The “Philosophical Survival School” is a series of open discussions, debates and lectures created by the Wrocław Centre for Social Development (WCRS) in cooperation with the Applied Philosophy Student Research Group at the University of Wrocław. The third edition of the series begins on 17 April and will explore questions in the philosophy of science, the philosophy of yoga, rhetoric in the media, Władysław Tatarkiewicz’s theory of happiness and philosophical interpretations of computer games. The initiative is aimed at everyone who seeks philosophical sensitivity in getting to know themselves and the world around them, and who would also like to share their own experience.
