Save the date: on 3 and 10 December, Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu) will host music workshops for families!
The Wrocław Centre for Social Development (WCRS) invites expectant parents and parents of babies and toddlers (aged 0–2) to special bilingual music workshops as part of the project “Pośpiewaj mi, mamo, pośpiewaj mi, tato” (Sing to Me, Mum, Sing to Me, Dad). The project has been run at the National Forum of Music (Narodowe Forum Muzyki, NFM) for 15 years, and in 2023 it gained a bilingual version designed especially for families from the Ukrainian minority. It is a wonderful opportunity to sing together, learn lullabies and songs in Polish and Ukrainian, and strengthen the bond with your little ones.
Why take part?
– Children’s emotional and intellectual development. Singing to children is a way of supporting their development, with an impact on their emotions, intelligence and language skills.
– Bonding with your baby. Singing together is not just about learning new songs, but also a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the bond between parent and child.
– Discovering Polish and Ukrainian children’s culture. Through singing in two languages, the workshops will introduce participants to the traditions of both cultures.
– A festive atmosphere. The December sessions will be devoted to lullabies and Christmas songs that will warm your heart and bring a special festive feel.
