We invite you to a psychoeducational meeting led by experienced psychologists from the Kalejdoskop Kultur Foundation. Registration is required: to take part, please fill in the application form. The meetings are held in Ukrainian.
Free meeting with a psychologist: When to Say Yes and When to Say “No”?
Take the phone away or try to find another way to reach an understanding? Step into a conflict with peers or let your child resolve it on their own? Stand your ground or let your child make their own choice? Help, or let them make a mistake and learn from their own experience? Where is the line between care and excessive control?
Every day parents make dozens of decisions for which there is rarely a single right answer. After almost every such situation the same question comes up: “DID I DO THE RIGHT THING?”
When? 10.08, 17:00-19:00
Where? the Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu), ul. Świdnicka 10 (right next to the Świdnicka underpass).
Led by: psychologist Angelika Tretiakova
For whom? parents
Language: Ukrainian
We will talk about:
• why the same response does not work in every situation;
• how to tell your own anxiety, fatigue or guilt apart from your child’s real needs;
• when a child really needs clear boundaries, and when they need more freedom and independence;
• how to strike a balance between support, responsibility and trust;
• how to set boundaries and respond in difficult situations so as to prevent violence and build a relationship based on respect.
The aim of this meeting is not to teach you how to be perfect parents, but to help you make decisions with greater confidence and calm.
Participation is free and places are limited. Registration via the application form is required – click here to sign up!ㅤ
