What’s On This Week?

What’s on this week?

As every week, you can come along for consultations run by the teams of WroMigrant and Instytut Praw Migrantów (Migrant Rights Institute). They take place at Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu) every Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Remember that for some time now we have been open longer on Mondays – until 18.00. The consultations are aimed at newcomers to Wrocław and cover, among other things, legalising residence, work, education, dealing with official matters and life in Wrocław.
Find out more about the consultations at https://przejsciedialogu.wcrs.wroclaw.pl/migranci-tki/

On Tuesday 22 February our colleagues from WroMigrant will run a training session, interpreted into Russian, on how to file your PIT (Polish income tax) return. Join us at Passage of Dialogue at 17:00! The session will be recorded, so if you can’t make it, you won’t miss out!

On Wednesday 23 February the Jewish Book Club gets under way. Żydoteka invites you to the club’s first meeting, where we will talk over coffee and cake about what the club will be reading!

You can read more about the book club in our interview with its organiser, Ula Rybicka (https://bit.ly/33rpocI), and on the event page (https://fb.me/e/2RYk0cpCg).

On Thursday 24 February there will be a debate with the Deputy Mayor of Wrocław, Jakub Mazur. He will meet representatives of the Młodzi dla Wrocławia (Young People for Wrocław) Foundation as well as young people and students from Wrocław. If you belong to one of these groups and want to find out how the city of Wrocław will support you, come along at 17:00. The meeting will also be streamed live! For more details, visit the event page, where you will find the registration link: https://fb.me/e/3CLnsjhOW.

As every week, ABC: Argy-Bargy English Speaking Club will be teaching English at Passage of Dialogue. Sessions are run as a discussion club, and everyone is welcome, whatever their level! Take a look at their Facebook page to see what other English-language events they have lined up.

Dreaming of getting involved in an art project? Registration for the Identity project run by Centrum Kultury Wrocław has been extended until 26.02 (Sunday). Under the guidance of the French artist Léa Comprelle, workshop participants will create works that will then be shown in our exhibition space! https://fb.me/e/14oUOVgFV – here you will find the registration link and more information about the project.

See you at Passage of Dialogue!
