Young Adults Circle: a conversation about weakness in adult life

Zaproszenie na wydarzenie - Krąg Młodych Dorosłych w Przejściu Dialogu!

Adult life is a unique period full of challenges and difficulties, but also of joy and wonderful experiences. We invite young people aged 20-26 to a circle meeting at the Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu), where we will talk about our experiences of this stage of life.

What is the Young Adults Circle?

Varsztatovnia organises monthly meetings of the Young Adults Circle in Wrocław in cooperation with the Passage of Dialogue. It is a safe and empathetic space to share your emotions, experiences, difficulties and life challenges. You will have the opportunity to talk about what we are going through, the emotions we feel, the problems we are grappling with and how we experience our lives.

Who can join the circle meetings?

The Young Adults Circle meetings are open to people aged 20-26, regardless of gender.

What happens at a circle meeting?

Each meeting brings together a dozen or so people. At the very beginning, together with the facilitator, participants agree on the ground rules that will form the basis of the meeting. Together they create an atmosphere of understanding and safety. The next step is for everyone to introduce themselves and share their expectations and motivations. Once they have got to know each other a little, they move on to the main part, in which each person has the opportunity to express their thoughts freely, with the facilitator continuing to guide the conversation. The aim is to understand a variety of perspectives and to share one’s own experience.

Topic of the next meeting

Weakness is an inherent part of human experience that often remains in the shadow of our successes and achievements. Join us for a meeting where we will open up to a conversation about our own experiences of this difficult yet valuable aspect of life.

At the upcoming meeting we will look at what we mean by weakness and the different forms it takes in our lives. We will talk about the experiences and situations that weaken us, but also about those that can make us stronger if we treat them as an opportunity to learn and grow. Does weakness always mean failure, or can it be a source of new strength and self-understanding? We look forward to hearing your experiences and reflections on the subject, and we are also ready to explore other important areas of life if that is what you need.
