This Friday, Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu) and Varsztatovnia invite you to a meeting of the Young Adults’ Circle in Wrocław. It is a safe and empathetic space to share your emotions, experiences, difficulties and life challenges. You will have the chance to talk about what we are going through, what emotions we feel, what problems we are struggling with and how we are living our lives.
When? 15 December, 17:00–20:00 the event has been postponed
Where? Passage of Dialogue, Świdnicka 19 (underground passage)
For whom? People aged 20–26, of any gender
Registration required: registration link
Topic of the meeting: family – we will talk about our relationships with those close to us, the emotions and feelings they stir in us, and what family means to us. There will also be room to raise other topics that participants consider important or necessary.
From the organisers: the Young Adults’ Circle focuses above all on issues close to us – people entering adult life: the challenges we face, the new roles we take on and our relationships with others. The circle is not a substitute for therapy, but it can have a therapeutic effect through the experience of being heard by the group. If you don’t want to say anything during the circle and just come to listen – that’s fine too!
What does a circle meeting look like? We meet in a group of a dozen or so people. First, together with the circle’s moderator, we agree on the rules our circle will be based on. Together we create an atmosphere of understanding and safety. Then we introduce ourselves and share our expectations and the motivations that brought us here. Once we have got to know each other a little better, we move on to the circle practice itself, in which each person is given space to speak freely and without interruption, with the moderator’s support. The aim is to learn about other perspectives and to share our own experiences.
