Everyday Life at a Polish School.

Children who speak other languages, and their parents and carers, face a real challenge as they join the school community in the coming days. The first days are likely to be difficult, especially because of the different language and differences in school traditions.

That is why training sessions in Belarusian for parents, entitled “Everyday Life at a Polish School”, have been planned for September. Specialists with many years’ experience of working with pupils who speak other languages will tell parents what life at a Polish school is really like and answer all their questions.

The programme includes:

  • the education system in Poland

  • important documents

  • how the school year is organised

  • exams

  • everyday life at school

  • support for pupils who speak other languages

The training will take place on 27 September at 18:00 at Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu, ul. Świdnicka 19).

The meeting will be held in Belarusian. You can register using the form at the bottom of the page.

Led by:

Żanna Nogina – educator and long-standing teacher of Polish as a foreign language, currently a consultant in the WroMigrant team.

Iryna Nadvorna – PE teacher and intercultural assistant in a preparatory class, currently a consultant in the WroMigrant team.

The event is organised by the Wrocław Centre for Social Development (WCRS).

This task is carried out with the support of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) under the Memorandum of Understanding between the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) and the City of Wrocław of 9.06.2022 and the Letters of exchange for the provision of support related to emergency refugee response in Wrocław of 09.06.2022.

Świdnicka 19).

Letters of exchange for the provision of support related to emergency refugee response in Wrocław ад 09.06.2022 года.
