November is a special time in Wrocław – we celebrate the Month of Support and Kindness, during which the Wrocław Centre for Social Development (WCRS) – Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu) – invites you to events that promote empathy, openness and mutual understanding. This year’s slogan, “Find Yourself Among the Kind”, encourages us to share a kind word, a bit of humour and support every day.

From Hate to Kindness – how to build a culture of respect in relationships – workshops for adults
This workshop addresses the key communication challenges of the digital age, with a particular focus on online hate, and will help participants develop the skills they need for conscious and responsible interaction at work, in the family and in community life.
During the session you will:
– learn to distinguish constructive criticism and free expression from verbal aggression and hate, by analysing the intentions and long-term effects of communication;
– discover strategies for responding with empathy to hate speech and for supporting people affected by hate;
– practise alternative, proactive communication methods that help build a culture of kindness and a positive climate in teams and online communities;
– understand your role in shaping a safe and inclusive environment and strengthen your sense of responsibility for the quality of interactions.
The workshop combines analytical and practical elements – participants will be able to apply the new tools straight away in everyday situations, improving the atmosphere at work and in their personal relationships.
