Join us for the first walk in the “Wrocław from the Beginning” series. To start with, we have chosen a theme that will help us get to know the city inside out: “Medieval and Modern Wrocław”.
What was life like for the people of medieval Wrocław? Why did children drink beer and go sledging all year round? What were the “schools” and “supermarkets” of the time like? Let’s compare how different life was 500-800 years ago from life today!
“Wrocław from the Beginning” is a series of walks for Ukrainian-speaking families that will introduce children (aged 6-11) and their parents/carers to the history and present of the capital of Lower Silesia. We will find out what life was like in medieval Wrocław, get to know our islands and bridges (both physical and metaphorical) and see how the city works.
The walks will be led by a licensed Ukrainian-speaking Wrocław tour guide – Khrystyna Podolian.
