Coming up next is the second walk in the “Wrocław from the Beginning” series: “Wrocław – a City of Rivers, Bridges and Islands”.
The Oder is an old friend of Wrocław. But how many rivers are there in the city? And what about the islands and bridges? Let’s talk about how water in the city brings not only life but also dangers. What dangers? Come along and find out!
“Wrocław from the Beginning” is a series of walks for Ukrainian-speaking families that will introduce children (aged 6-11) and their parents/carers to the history and present of the capital of Lower Silesia. We will find out what life was like in medieval Wrocław, get to know our islands and bridges (both physical and metaphorical) and see how the city works.
The walks will be led by a licensed Ukrainian-speaking Wrocław tour guide – Khrystyna Podolian.
