18.08 | Art therapy for women

You have surely heard that “boys don’t cry” and “girls should be modest”. Where do such beliefs come from?

Join us for another art therapy session for women, where we will look at the mechanism of introjection.

Important!

Completing the form does not guarantee a place in the session. Registration for the project “From Adaptation to Integration – Supporting Third-Country Nationals in the Process of Intercultural Integration in Wrocław” (FEDŚ) is required.

Find out more here. Places are allocated in the order in which paper recruitment forms are completed at Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu). We will contact you by phone to arrange the next steps.

During the session, we will:

Explore which childhood beliefs still affect our lives.
Reflect on how social expectations have shaped our behaviour.
Use an art technique to see our inner limitations more clearly.
Learn to recognise introjection and consciously choose our own values.
Close the session with a practice of self-support and self-acceptance.

When: 18 August (Monday), 17:00-20:00

Where: Passage of Dialogue, ul. Świdnicka 19

Language: Ukrainian, Russian

Facilitator: Svitlana Voloshyna – psychologist, art therapist and Gestalt therapist who works with metaphorical cards
