Find out how local government works in Poland and visit one of Wrocław’s most important buildings – the Town Hall!
We will begin at Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu), where together we will learn the basic principles of how a municipality works:
what a municipality (gmina) is and what its responsibilities are,
the role of city councillors and the Mayor,
how to get involved in the local life of your city.
Then we will walk over to the Town Hall, where, with a professional guide, we will see the medieval interiors of the Old Town Hall, look into the Council Chamber and the Councillors’ Club, and hear many fascinating stories. It is a unique opportunity to learn how Wrocław’s local government works and to feel part of the city’s community. The Town Hall tour will be conducted in Polish, with interpretation into Ukrainian if needed.
