Can a world without states, governments and imposed structures function? Is anarchism merely a utopian idea, or a real alternative to existing social systems? A completely free society, based on cooperation and individual responsibility, sounds like a promise – but could it survive on a global scale?
We invite you to the sixth meeting of the second season of the “Philosophical Survival School” – “Could global anarchism sustain itself?”, where together we will consider whether global anarchism could exist. We will talk about its practical consequences, challenges and ethical aspects. Is such a model of society possible at all? Join us and take part in this fascinating discussion!

The Philosophical Survival School: about the project
The “Philosophical Survival School” is a series of open discussions, debates and lectures created by the Wrocław Centre for Social Development (WCRS) in cooperation with the Applied Philosophy Student Research Group at the University of Wrocław. The second edition of the series begins on 11 April and will explore questions of ethics, art, anarchism and the environment. It is for everyone who wants to look at the world through the lens of philosophy – an initiative for all those who seek a philosophical sensitivity in getting to know themselves and the world around them, and who want to share their own experience.
