It’s 1 August, which means it’s time to share what’s happening at the Passage of Dialogue (Przejście Dialogu) this month!
In August we invite everyone to free events under the banner #LATOzPRZEJŚCIEM (Summer at the Passage). Throughout the month the Passage will host a wide range of activities that are sure to brighten everyone’s summer days. From sessions with psychologists for young people and adults, through Polish language and adaptation classes, to games of Cash Flow – there is something here for everyone.

(PL | UA) “Od słowa do słowa” (Word by Word). Summer Polish classes // «Od słowa do słowa». Літні заняття з польської мови
In the classes we will focus on the practical use of Polish in a variety of everyday situations. Experienced Polish teachers will also help you get to know Polish culture and traditions. Children will have an excellent opportunity to prepare for the new school year and start school in Poland with more confidence. Learning will take place in a fun, relaxed atmosphere through games, play and interesting tasks.
Під час занять ми зосередимося на практичному використанні польської мови в різних контекстах повсякденного життя. Досвідчені викладачі польської мови допоможуть познайомити з культурою та традиціями Польщі. Діти матимуть чудову нагоду підготуватися до нового навчального року та впевнено розпочати навчання у польських школах. In the classes we will focus on using Ukrainian in practice, in a relaxed atmosphere full of games and fun! There will also be historical trivia and a little literature and music. In addition, children will be able to develop their communication skills and strengthen bonds with their peers.

“From Insurgent Warsaw to Wartime Wrocław”. A lecture by Kamilla Jasińska of the IPN
Kamilla Jasińska will present the dramatic stories of thousands of Varsovians who ended up in labour camps in Breslau after the fall of the Warsaw Uprising. She will talk about their daily lives, their struggle for survival and the difficult choices they faced after the war. The lecture will be accompanied by unique archival material: drawings and photographs from the collection of the Society of Friends of Wrocław – the Club of People with the “P” Mark.

On Mondays, the Migrant Rights Institute (Instytut Praw Migrantów) team offers consultations from 12:00 to 16:00.
On Thursdays (16:00-18:00) and Saturdays (12:00-14:00) – free legal advice from the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers in Wrocław (Okręgowa Izba Radców Prawnych we Wrocławiu). Prior booking required! Appointments can be made by phone: +48 71 798 64 99.
